We are real treasure hunters and love decorating and beautiful things with a story.
In the Amsterdamse Pijp, we, Jikke & Maaike, in addition to De Kinderfeestwinkel (for more than 25 years) in the Gerard Doustraat, also have a super cute little shop in the first van der Helststraat in the Amsrdamse Pijp. There it is in October, November and of course December, the coolest, cutest Christmas shop in Amsterdam (if we say so ourselves), the MerryXmasShop. Every year in September, the MerryXmasShop is completely filled with 1001 glass Christmas ornaments. Preferably from small Christmas ball factories in Europe where they still blow with the mouth and paint the balls by hand.

We have Christmas baubles there all year round, but in January we free up half of the store for French brocante and we transform part of the Christmas shop into It is Love - brocante. From January to mid-September you can find many beautiful French antique tableware and beautiful old antique and vintage glass lamps here. These will have completely refurbish them. Especially in the summer months, we go hunting for beautiful things in the north of France and refurbish them if necessary. But also at Christmas time, in addition to fantastic Christmas baubles, you can also continue to shop for second-hand items in the webshop.
