We really love advent calendars at De Kinderfeestwinkel and have been selling them there for 25 years. But of course they also belong in our webshop / Christmas shop, the MerryXmasshop!
It is a festive start to the month of December that is often very exciting for children.
Where does the tradition of Advent calendars come from?
Advent calendars were invented in the 19th century, around 1840 somewhere in Germany or Austria. It is a tool to show children how many days or nights of sleep there are until Christmas.
